PikkuHarrastus gathers all child-friendly activities in the Oulu region in one place: muskari and music playschools, gymnastics and sports playschools, family clubs, swim schools, dance classes, visual art and crafts, martial arts and church family activities. You can filter by the child's age, neighbourhood and price — and save favourites to revisit later.
Activities are available in every Oulu district: Centre, North Oulu (Tuira, Pateniemi, Kuivasjärvi), South Oulu (Karjasilta, Kaakkuri), East Oulu (Hiukkavaara, Myllyoja), Haukipudas, Kiiminki and Oulunsalo. The neighbouring municipalities are also covered: Kempele, Liminka, Muhos, Tyrnävä and Ii.

Yes. The entire service is completely free for both families and providers. We don't charge any listing or visibility fees.
What age group is this for?
Children aged 0–8 and their families. Most groups are specifically designed for this age range: from baby muskari (3 months) to preschool tumble classes.
Where does PikkuHarrastus' data come from?
We gather information from providers' official websites and verify it manually. Every activity includes a direct enrollment link so you can check the latest details on the provider's own page.
How often is the data updated?
We re-scrape the largest providers (City of Oulu, Vuolle-opisto, Oulu parishes) several times a week. Each activity shows when it was last verified; anything older than 6 months is flagged for re-check.
What if my activity is missing?
We probably haven't found it yet. You can suggest an activity via our form — we usually add it within 1–2 days. Suggesting is free.
Can I filter for free activities?
Yes. The front page search has a 'Price: Free' option. The Oulu region has roughly 80 completely free groups (church family clubs, libraries, MLL, guided playground activities).
